MoveItClearIt Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you book and use our labor-only moving service in West Orange and Essex County, NJ.

1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at moveitclearit.com and the moving services provided by We Move It. We Clear It. ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a move, paying the booking fee, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Labor-Only Service
We Move It. We Clear It. provides labor-only moving assistance. We are NOT a licensed moving carrier or DOT-regulated transportation company, and we do not provide a truck. We provide skilled labor — loading, unloading, carrying, furniture placement, and simple disassembly.
3. Truck Requirement
The customer is responsible for providing the moving truck. Any rental truck (U-Haul, Penske, etc.) must be rented in the name of the customer or a person the customer brings who holds a valid driver's license; we are added as a second driver. We optionally offer a +$50 truck pickup & return add-on, due on move day, where we pick up and return the truck you have reserved in your name.
4. Booking, Fees & Rescheduling
- A $49 booking fee, paid through Stripe, reserves your date, time, and crew. It is non-refundable and applied toward your total on move day.
- You may reschedule once within 90 days at no extra cost with at least 48 hours' notice.
- Move pricing is flat-rate by home size; add-on fees (e.g., heavy items $30–$60, the optional truck add-on $50) are disclosed before move day and due on completion.
- If we cannot process a booking automatically, we will contact you to confirm manually. If a booking is denied, any hold is released.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate move details, a valid truck where required, and safe, legal access to both locations.
- Pack and prepare items before the crew arrives unless packing was separately arranged.
- Personally transport cash, jewelry, documents, and other high-value or irreplaceable items.
- Disclose heavy, oversized, or special items (pianos, safes) in advance.
6. Liability
Because we are a labor-only service and not a licensed moving carrier, we do not provide carrier cargo coverage or transportation insurance. Our crew handles your belongings with reasonable care. To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that move. We are not responsible for the rental truck, for items we did not handle, for pre-existing damage, or for loss caused by improperly packed or undisclosed items. We recommend customers maintain their own coverage (for example, the protection options offered by the truck rental company).
7. Cancellation & No-Show
The $49 booking fee is forfeited on cancellation, but no additional charge applies. If the crew arrives and cannot perform the move due to lack of a truck, lack of access, or unsafe conditions, the booking fee is forfeited and the move is treated as cancelled.
8. Automated Content & Social Media Posting
We Move It. We Clear It. operates an automated content system that creates and posts videos to our own official social media accounts (including TikTok and Instagram). These tools are used exclusively for our own business operations — we do not offer public access to our automation systems, and we do not upload, schedule, or manage content for any third party. All videos posted through our automated system are created by We Move It. We Clear It.
9. Social Media Data & Account Security
We do not collect, store, or process personal data from TikTok, Instagram, or other social media users. We only access analytics for our own accounts — such as views, likes, comments, and audience retention — to understand how our own content performs. We maintain reasonable security measures to protect our systems and connected accounts. Questions about our automated content system can be sent to support@moveitclearit.com.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Essex County, New Jersey.
